Strange encounters and possible tracks found in a swamp near the Douglas State Forest
The witness was clearing a trail by a swamp when they heard two splashes from across the water without seeing the source. While on the phone, they saw a football-sized rock fly through the air about three-quarters of the way across the swamp and land in the water. No creature was seen, only the rock in flight and the splashes.
Hikers have large rock thrown their way on October Mountain
Three people hiking in daylight near a pond had a large rock thrown toward them, with the rock striking a tree. They searched the apparent origin area and found a fresh large bass displayed on a boulder, aligned toward the path, with no other people around. An investigator later documented the rock size and photographed the pond and fish.

The witness and relatives reported finding two sets of large four-toed footprints in snow that crossed residential yards. One trackway led to a garbage can where bags had been pulled out and torn open, then continued to a neighboring driveway and toward woods and grass. Photographs were taken with a shoe for scale, showing deep impressions larger than the shoe. No creature was seen, and no unusual sounds or odors were noted the prior night.
