The witness was night fishing from a dock when an otter nearby suddenly fled. The witness then saw a large grey shape move quickly and silently between cover, followed by a large splash near the dock. Frightened, the witness left immediately and found large four-toed footprints on a return visit the next day.
Possible repeat approaches to a rural residence at night outside OPP
The witness describes recurring strange noises around the family home shared with parents, including window banging, howls around dusk, growls, moans, grunts and rocks striking the house. The source was never seen, and indoor and outdoor dogs reportedly failed to react normally. A dank odor was also noted over several days. The activity is presented as ongoing, mainly at night and around dusk.

The witness was watching television in the living room at night while a relative worked outside. The unused front door began to move and its knob turned, and three long hairy fingers with long black nails slid under the gap at the bottom for several minutes. When the fingers withdrew the movement stopped, and the relative later said he had not touched the door.
