They never saw the source, reported no departing footsteps, and described a persistent feeling of being watched and warned from entering the woods.

Late at night the witness and a companion were in a boat on a lake when large rocks began splashing in the water near them. After several close splashes they heard loud splashing steps running away along the shoreline on two legs. They started the boat and left, stating the forested swamp shoreline was not accessible to people and the cause was not human or fish.

After shouting, they heard heavy stomping retreat into the woods and fled to their car. At dawn the camper heard loud bird-like calls from multiple directions, and found large grass impressions the next morning.

Shortly afterward rocks landed and bounced on the ground and road behind them, apparently thrown from a wooded area leading up a hill. They did not see the source, packed their gear, and left as the rock throwing stopped.

The witness and two companions were scouting for deer season by a creek near a cedar swamp when they heard an unfamiliar low growl. After the witness threw stones toward the sound, they saw a dark upright shadow moving at the swamp edge and rocks were thrown back toward them. Hearing further growls and large branches breaking, the group left quickly for their vehicle.

The witness was alone in a remote primitive cabin just after dark on a mid-October evening when she heard repeated loud knocking sounds for 15-20 minutes and then gravel hitting the tin roof. She saw nothing outside and stayed inside with a gun until her husband returned. Her husband later fired guns into the woods and found a fired bullet standing upright in the outdoor shower the next morning.

A tree trunk snapped and fell toward the witness, who fled to the car and drove away, later concluding the shape might have been a Sasquatch.

They also heard what sounded like large rocks splashing into the water at a distance. Feeling increasingly uneasy, they left the area a short time later.
