They watched a tall, huge figure standing about 50 yards away in the woods, passing the scope back and forth, and saw it crouch down and stand back up. While they watched, a rock was thrown onto the carport by something else nearby, and when the husband started toward the figure it vanished in a sudden flash of movement.

At dusk in 2012 the witness was sitting alone in a tree stand during archery season. He heard a loud scream from a nearby swamp, then heard heavy footsteps circling behind him where he could not see. An object was thrown through the trees over him and a stone struck the tree he was in, after which he yelled toward the sounds and left for his truck.

Reported activity includes footprints, wood knocks, odors, vocalizations, trail and structure formation, and direct sightings with food exchange and close interactions. An investigator visited the densely brushed property, observed extensive trails and shelter-like spots, and interviewed the household about four to five individuals of different sizes.

Late at night the witness heard a very large bipedal animal moving through snowy woods to the woodline, breaking branches and small trees, but could see nothing despite moonlight. After listening with his wife from an upstairs window, he searched in the morning and reported large humanlike tracks, a crushed fence, and a dismembered deer with legs stacked by a sitting impression. While photographing the scene, he says a thrown stick struck his head, prompting him to run to the house.

In early April 2006 around 2:30 a.m., the witness was inside his trailer when he saw a hairy figure staring through a nearby window. When he tried to shut his front door, something held it open against his push. He retreated, armed himself and woke his wife, but the figure was gone and only muddy fingerprints remained on the window.

Near dawn a very tall hair-covered female-like figure stood by the tent and walked rapidly toward the witness despite additional warning shots, then ran away over granite and out of sight. The witness remained in place until daylight and then hiked out.

The witness reports inspecting the yard on May 26, 2002 after being told about footprints about two weeks earlier, finding multiple sets of large footprints following a muddy ravine through the front yard. A bird feeder was found bent over while a nearby feeder was untouched, suspected to have been pulled down by the track makers. The witness states the family has not personally seen the creatures.

In moonlight they saw a large shape kneeling on the lawn that stood and ran across the lawn, through a puddle, and up a driveway. The witness was coonhunting with dogs in flooded timber at night when the dogs treed separately. After catching their own dogs, the witness heard wading steps, a growl and a whistling sound and smelled a strong putrid odor while the dogs whimpered. The witness then saw a very tall hair-covered creature standing behind them that hissed and splashed water toward them before the witness fled. The creature followed briefly then moved away making moaning sounds, and the witness saw a very large four-toed footprint while leaving.

After a rock was thrown toward the unseen sounds, something shrieked, circled the camp and emitted a loud high-pitched scream, prompting them to leave and later return with a parent. The primary witness heard noises again overnight, and the next morning the group found large footprints, hair and a bedding area before the primary witness briefly saw a tall hair-covered upright creature that looked at him and ran away.
