After an unusually quiet night, she lay awake in the tent around 7 a.m. while her sister slept and heard two loud, clear whoops she could not identify. She later listened to alleged bigfoot whoop recordings online and felt they matched what she heard.

Three people riding in an SUV at night saw an animal step over a roadside fence and cross the road in the headlights. The animal turned to look at the vehicle, then continued across and scaled a steep embankment on all fours before disappearing out of sight.
