The main witness was bicycling to work in the early morning when he heard heavy steps coming from the woods beside the road. He stopped and shone a flashlight toward the sound, and the source moved back into the woods breaking branches while making grunting noises. He was frightened and rode away quickly.

The creature grunted and shuffled back into the woods, and the group quickly got in the car and left.

The guest growled back and the unseen animal exchanged escalating growls and a scream about seven or eight times. The sound then faded as if leaving, and the group left.
