Large hairy biped seen twice, late at night while entering subdivision near Montgomery
The witness described driving into the back entrance of his subdivision late at night on two occasions within the last month. Both times deer gathered by the road suddenly fled as he passed, and he saw in his rearview mirror a large brown biped come out of the adjacent forest, run a few steps toward his car, then turn away out of view. He reported being scared and said he could give no further detail, recalling no odor or sound during the road encounters.
Camper hears possible wood knock and distant reply in the Sam Houston National Forest
The witness was hammock camping with a companion in the forest before dawn. He heard a sharp close clack followed seconds later by a distant double-knock that he interpreted as a call and response. He heard no footsteps or other sounds, and his companion did not hear the knocks. Given the still conditions he said he could think of no other cause for the sounds.

A group was fishing off a bridge late at night while coyotes and owls were heard. They then heard a long, loud single-tone howl from up the river that they described as a typical Bigfoot howl. Afterward the forest went silent and the group was intimidated, with the witness's wife wanting to leave.
Observation of a tall figure in a meadow while driving outside New Caney at dawn
The witness was driving to work in the early morning when he saw a very tall hairy figure standing among cows in a fenced meadow, apparently moving toward a calf. The figure appeared to notice the truck when the brake lights came on, watched the witness briefly, then calmly walked away past a farmhouse and into the woods. The witness stopped to observe but was unable to photograph it or follow on foot because the land was posted.

The witness parked with four teenage companions at a forest spot late at night to watch from a pickup truck. After tree knocks and whoop sounds, the group saw a very tall, wide upright figure silhouetted beside a pine tree in moonlight. The witness later found large footprints at the same spot and made casts.

The witness and his father were hiking a loop trail back toward their car when the witness noticed a single barefoot-like impression in soft ash. The print showed toe outlines and an arch, felt as soft as the surrounding ash, and was larger than the witness's own foot. The surrounding ground was harder and held no other prints, and the witness jumping nearby left no impression. The witness concluded no person would be walking barefoot there and considered the print non-human.

The witness was walking dogs late at night near dense forest around a subdivision when they heard an unidentified whooping call from a distance. They described the source as a larger animal and said the whooping matched a 1974 recording and a vocalization heard on a website. The dogs reportedly did not react, and the witness hoped to record the sound if heard again.

After a storm knocked out power, the witness walked a powerline to check for damage and then headed back toward the house. They noticed blinking eye-like lights high off the ground, smelled a musky odor, and made out a large bulky dark shape in weak flashlight light before running to the house. A short time later the witness returned with a brighter light and companions, saw the blinking eyes again in woods beside the house, then heard movement and a throaty howl as it left.

The witness was bow hunting and walking a fire trail near dark when he found a large human-shaped footprint and photographed it and the surrounding woods. While photographing he noticed a strong layered odor of sour sweat, decaying flesh and musk. After walking back to his truck after dark, something growled at close range for 1-2 seconds, but a flashlight search revealed nothing and he left to develop the film.

In summer 2003 the witness was horseback riding with relatives and a companion on dirt roads through an unused hunting lease around midday. After turning back from a dead end, the witness stopped to look at a dead snake, then looked up and saw an upright, hair-covered creature leap across the full width of the road. The companions were facing the opposite direction and did not see it, suggesting a cow or deer, but the witness remained convinced it was bipedal and erect.

The witness was walking alone on an old logging road into the forest when he noticed a dark, robust, hairy being crouched in thick brush watching him. The being paralleled him for 20-25 minutes, then crouched low when approached, producing a strange odor and low growl. After hearing large movement behind him, the witness retreated to the trail and watched the first being stand upright and stare, as a second much larger dark being appeared beside it before he ran home.

The witness and his brother were building a house on an undeveloped lot and sitting outside on the road at night after turning off lanterns. About fifty yards away, at least three very large animals began screaming, cackling, and babbling like primates. The witness tried to illuminate them with a motorbike headlight, but they were already gone and the night fell still.
