Early evening sighting near a home and strange deer kills investigated at Canyon Lake
The witness was backing out of the driveway with family at dusk when headlights illuminated a tall, broad, grayish-blond creature standing about 40 yards away near an oak tree. The creature faced the witness with its arms at its sides. After the witness briefly looked away to alert a relative, the creature was gone.
Homeowner hears possible vocalization and experiences unusual dog and wildlife behavior near Wimberley
Late at night at his hillside home, the witness was on the driveway and porch trying to get his two large dogs to go into the woods below. A very loud, powerful yell or holler erupted from close range downhill, which he felt vibrate through his body and which silenced all dogs in the area. His dogs froze with raised hackles staring downhill, then pigs and possible raccoons were heard moving up a valley, followed by distant dogs barking uphill as if something moved away quickly.
Campers hear foot steps in tree line while walking on road
The witness and a companion were walking along a dark road by a river and cliff while returning to their campsite at night. They heard very heavy footfalls from the other side of the road that seemed to follow them. When they stopped, the sounds stopped after a branch-breaking noise. Frightened, they ran back to camp and left at first light.
