The witness was driving to a night shift and turned onto an unfamiliar county road to avoid a traffic stop. After reaching a dead end at a creek and turning around, the witness saw a large dark figure cross the road behind the vehicle in the rearview mirror. The figure was described as looking toward the vehicle before disappearing. An attempt to capture dashcam video produced poor footage.

The witness was climbing down from a deer stand in a marshy area in the evening when an extremely frightening howl came from directly behind him. He states the sound was unlike familiar night animals and made him feel unwelcome. He then stopped hunting that marsh for the remainder of the year.

A child riding a toy vehicle in the backyard told a relative to come see something, but a relative hurried over and the thing was already gone. The child described a tall brown hairy figure watching her, with upright hair on top of its head, taller than a parent, and said it was not a cow from a nearby pasture. The family questioned the child and believed she had seen something unusual, and she has since avoided the spot.

A man driving to fish with his son stopped on a road near a lake after seeing what he thought was a bear. The animal stood upright, revealing a very tall, broad, dark-brown hairy human-like form, and the driver got out and shouted at it. The creature vocalized loudly, threw part of a snake toward them, then ran rapidly into the woods.

Late at night the witness was driving north toward Atlanta when he saw a very large dark-brown hairy creature step easily over a barbed-wire fence beside an S-curve. The creature turned its head toward the witness but did not run, continuing to walk along the fence line while the witness braked and then drove on, frightened.

The witness and his mother were fishing with his father in a roadside wash at dusk when they heard footsteps in the water that sounded bipedal. A very large, wide figure then came into view in the open wash about 20 feet away, walked past them, turned and went up the bank into the woods. They shouted to the father and quickly left without discussing the event further.

The witness and a relative went squirrel hunting in creek-bottom woods one mid-morning. After walking up a hill alone, the witness heard repeated loud scream-howls approaching closer over three bouts without seeing the source. The witness ran back down to the road where the relative had also heard the sounds, and both left the area in a truck.

Four friends camped overnight after playing paintball. During the night two who were sleeping heard noises and saw a tall figure leaning from the treeline, followed by louder crashing movement circling the camp. They joined the other two, who had also heard noises, and waited until daylight. When they returned in the morning to collect belongings they heard a loud wavering scream and fled, later noting broken limbs in the area.

They also found remains of a duck that had been plucked and eaten nearby, felt watched, and noted the area was unusually quiet with frequent strange noises. The witness never saw a creature.
