Motorists view 7' bi-pedal creature cross Hwy 88W in Hailspoint Bottoms, near Halls.

The witness was riding as a passenger in a car at night when the headlights illuminated a hair-covered biped on the roadside. The creature stood briefly facing the car, then ran across the road at unusual speed. A companion in the car said he saw something cross but thought it might have been a deer.
