Possible trackway found and photographed 50 miles NE of Pittsburgh
Shortly after dawn the witness noticed a strange human-like trackway in the snow near the house while watching the dog. After daylight he inspected the prints and found dozens in a straight line between houses with a long step and no shoe tread. He photographed the tracks with his phone. The trackway appeared to have been made overnight and led from a neighboring field to the road.

The witness was driving at night with a passenger when a large hair-covered biped appeared in the headlights. The creature bounded across the two-lane highway and leaped from near the center line to the roadside bank. It stayed upright throughout the brief sighting before disappearing into brush and darkness.

The shape stood up and fled on two legs with long strides, remaining still briefly when first illuminated. Over several summers the household repeatedly heard a loud high rising whistle in the early morning from the same wooded spot near home. In the third summer the witness and a relative walked toward the sound with baseball bats and got within about 25 yards. While the whistle continued they heard a wet growling sound at the same time and fled. The whistling was heard only once the next year and then stopped.
