Close-range, 2-witness observation of a Sasquatch at 10pm outside off-grid cabin 35 crow miles due north of Coos Bay
A couple sitting in their off-grid cabin at night heard loud bangs on the cabin twice. The husband looked from a dark bedroom toward the lit generator shed and both saw a large reddish-brown hairy biped watching for about two minutes before it walked into the woods. The shaken couple fled with their dogs and guns, returning the next morning to estimate its height and find trampled vegetation.

The witness was driving home around midnight when he saw a tall figure standing by a roadside fence watching him pass. Believing it was a man needing help, he stopped, got out with a flashlight, and started walking back toward it. A loud vocalization shifting from high-pitched to low guttural frightened him, causing him to drop the flashlight and drive away. He returned the next day to recover the flashlight and found only flattened grass with no footprints or hair.

The witness was driving south on Interstate-5 at Rice Hill in the early morning in light rain when headlights illuminated a figure crouched by the guard rail. Frightened by its apparent size and closeness, they went back inside and locked the door. The witness described the end of the sound as more wolf-like than cow-like and later compared it to a reference Ohio recording.

Two brothers scouting a deer-hunting area stopped on a mountaintop logging road in the morning and saw two upright, dark, muscular figures on a nearby mountaintop about 300-500 yards away. The witnesses then drove to a fork below, spoke briefly with a horseback rider, and later mentioned the sighting in town.

The witness ran back to camp without seeing the rest of the creature and later described the hand as clearly a hand rather than a paw.

He reportedly saw a large fur-covered creature crouched drinking at the water's edge about 150 to 200 feet away. The creature then stood upright and stared at him, and he ran back up the trail.
