Fisherman don't return to their hot spot after strange encounter one night near Aberdeen
The witness and a companion arrived at dusk at their regular riverbank fishing spot to fish overnight. While gathering firewood, the witness found small barefoot human-like footprints in sand at the water's edge and showed them to the companion. They joked about the find and dismissed it at the time, only later interpreting the prints as possibly left by a juvenile after other experiences.
Loud vocalizations heard
The witness and a companion were in bed at home when their three dogs barked intensely and then fell suddenly silent. Shortly after the silence, the witness heard a loud deep grumbly yell ending deeper that she had never heard before. The companion also said he heard it while half-asleep, and the dogs remained silent afterward.
Young woman has close encounter at night outside of Georgetown
The primary witness waited outside an abandoned farmhouse at night while companions explored inside. A large black hair-covered animal charged toward her through tall weeds and veered away at the last moment. She screamed and the companions ran out to find her shaken. The investigator later interviewed her directly about the bluff charge.
