The son was driving home late at night when his headlights lit up a tall dark figure at the desert edge by the development gates. The figure walked away past reflective barricades and frightened him so badly he ran inside to tell his father. The family later found a large footprint outline and had doorbell video of him running inside.

While waiting on a narrow high-elevation trail for other climbers to pass, the witness and four companions watched a hair-covered biped move rapidly across a steep shale bowl toward vegetation. The creature alternated between running upright and moving on all fours over boulders. After about two minutes it disappeared into dense vegetation and was not approached due to climbing conditions.

The guest and his son were cutting wood when a herd of cow elk approached closely and stared back toward the timber. They then heard a deep roaring grunt from brush, like a bear about to charge. They stopped work and left, learning a friend nearby had also heard yelling and seen elk flee.

After a multi-day wait, a recovery team forced open the craft, found three seats and no conventional controls, and moved it to an underground facility.

Two companions hiking a steep mountain trail stopped near a cabin and creek to rest and gather cones. They reported a tall hair-covered biped appearing very close across the creek, watching them, vocalizing, then moving uphill without slipping. The being paralleled them as they descended and was last seen crouching on a boulder near their vehicle.

Shortly after, the father was attacked from behind while the mother drove away with the children after hearing screaming and seeing a monster-like pursuer. The father died, his body was recovered inside the range, and years later the son learned from a supervisor that an escaped non-human entity had killed him.

After a tire blowout, mist, humming and slowed perception, they stopped and hid in brush where a saucer landed and three floating beings took the two children aboard. The parents sought help at a military gate while the children were found the next morning on the test range and later described examinations, pills, a calming ribbon and a map.

While conducting security rounds in daylight, the witness and a coworker watched across a ravine where children were playing by a creek. They observed a very tall, hair-covered, man-shaped figure moving quickly uphill, pausing on the crest to look back before going out of view. They later drove to the spot and compared its height to an 11-foot tree.

On a clear night in August 1972, the 12-year-old witness was reading late in his bedroom when feral dogs chased something into his backyard. He heard heavy bipedal footfalls, a violent impact against the house corner and window, a grunt, and then a short deep growl directed at the dogs, followed by silence. The intruder then fled over a cedar fence as the dogs pursued, leaving a strong foul odor. Next morning the witness found a flattened flowerbed and trellis, a toppled lumber stack, and a tuft of hair of uncertain origin on the fence.

The figure stood facing them for under a minute, then stepped into the wash and walked away out of sight. The witness, then ten, was accompanying a relative on a deer hunt on Peavine Mountain when both heard a long siren-like call from a shadowed draw to the west. The call lasted 15-20 seconds and was repeated multiple times, seeming to move farther away. The relative dismissed it as a fire-tower siren and ended the outing, and they left without further incident.

He noticed a small green light in the sky that remained motionless for several minutes while he watched Orion. Feeling fear similar to the earlier encounter, he left the mountain quickly and later removed the forearm object himself.
