Possible daylight sighting by boy near Meridian
The witness was walking alone in thick woods carrying a BB gun late in the morning. The witness noticed a brown-colored subject moving very fast at an angle across the view, first thinking it was a person on a dirt bike. The witness then realized there was no engine noise, only the sound of breaking sticks, and left the area quickly without telling anyone at the time.

The witness was sitting at the edge of a creek swimming hole with a young relative while companions played in the water. The witness stared at a bush across the water and then discerned a large dark face watching from between branches, with very large hands also visible. After a short time the witness became terrified, grabbed the relative and fled screaming, followed by the others. Only the witness reported seeing the face.
Nighttime sighting by teens, near Meridian
Three teenagers stopped at night on a dirt road near a one-lane bridge to relieve themselves. They heard repeated grunting and growling from an oak tree with a thrashing limb, then watched a large hairy biped drop into a ditch and run through the car's high-beam illumination. It leapt off the bridge bank out of sight while its footsteps were heard continuing south, after which the group fled in the car.

The witness reports hearing wolf-like but different howls and daytime knocks over the past couple weeks after a two-year quiet period, with sounds heard on both sides of the road. The activity was first noticed near a shooting house when animals went quiet, and included a very active episode around 12:30 a.m. The witness and two neighbors have heard two different sounds, and dogs avoid the area.
