While sitting outside, the witness heard movement in the woods and heavy grunt-like vocalizations, initially considering coyotes or a bear. Feeling unnerved, the witness left and returned later, and the residents jokingly attributed the sounds to a local Bigfoot and mentioned their own prior unexplained experiences.

As children playing in a cedar swamp, the witness and two friends surprised a roughly six-foot, rusty-brown-haired creature sitting by a creek.
