Family describes multiple incidents in Custer Park, 45 SE of Chicago
Two children walking in a field reported seeing a figure standing in a ditch along a treeline watching them. They said it moved a short distance when they looked away and stopped when they looked back. They took photos of it and reported finding footprints.
Hiker has daylight sighting in Goodenow Grove Nature Preserve
The witness was walking alone on trails at the preserve in the afternoon and heard a twig snap followed by two gorilla-like grunts near a loop trail. The witness then followed a path through tall grass toward the treeline. About 40 feet away, a brown slender entity about six feet tall was seen running silently inside the trees, grabbing a small tree while moving fast and slightly stooped. The witness walked back to the main trail without running and found only their spouse waiting.
Memory told of a nighttime road crossing near Coal City
The witness was driving west late at night when a 6-foot-tall hairy creature stepped into the road. It crossed slowly about 50 yards in front of the vehicle and showed no fear. The creature was described with reddish-orange hair, massive legs, long arms, and eyes that shone emerald green in the headlights.
