Husband and wife riding ATV's along the Payette River see a Bigfoot
A couple traveling separately on a winding mountain road each reported seeing a large hairy biped. The husband reportedly saw it cross the road and head downhill toward the river, while the wife shortly after saw it cross back and climb uphill. They reunited, compared notes, and later found sign where an animal had passed. Both concluded they had seen the same Bigfoot-like animal.
Couple describes incidents at two different campgrounds in Boise National Forest
On November 1, 2009, the witness and his wife were camping in a public campground late in the evening. In moonlight they noticed a large, broad, dark shape about six feet tall moving on two legs among the trees near camp, which appeared to stop, look toward them, and sway. With no other campers present, the couple became spooked, packed up, and left.
Possible vocalizations heard by campers near Lowman
A family was setting up camp at a remote site in the afternoon when loud high- and low-pitched screams were heard coming from nearby woods. The sounds seemed to come from different directions in turn and continued off and on for about 30 minutes. The reporting witness first wondered if people were playing by the river but later felt the sounds matched a presumed vocalization heard on a show.

On a later trip to the same campground, the couple heard a very loud thud like a large rock landing near camp late at night and left immediately without packing the tent.
