The witness was driving east on a highway at night with four children to collect a relative. After re-engaging bright headlights on a slight curve, the witness saw a tall slim grey hair-covered figure standing beside the narrow roadside looking toward the vehicle. The figure stayed largely still while turning its head to follow the slow-moving vehicle for an estimated 15-20 seconds at close range. The driver then accelerated away and stopped at a rest area to recover from fright.

On May 12 around 4pm, the witness was hiking back to base camp with two relatives when he saw a large upright hair-covered figure dart between trees on a steep slope about 30 yards away. He watched it cover 10-15 yards uphill in seconds without bobbing before it disappeared behind trees. His companions did not see the figure, and the party returned to camp without further incident before leaving the area that evening.

They did not stop out of fear, and the companion reported only a very brief glimpse of a tall dark figure.

The witness went with two companions to a river area to swim and fish and wandered a short distance away. After hearing thumping, the witness saw a tall hairy figure on a hill partially concealed by brush and a boulder looking down. They observed each other for about a minute before the witness fled to the car and drove home with the companions.

The witness was driving east on Highway 96 at night with his daughter when headlights caught a hairy biped coming down an embankment toward the road. He stopped and watched it take a few long strides to the centerline, look toward the car, then leap off the pavement and disappear. He described it as about six feet tall, very stocky with long arms and dark brown hair, and noted its eyes did not reflect like deer eyes.

After a brief check with a night-vision scope that revealed nothing, the witness looked again and saw the upper portion of a tall, hairy, human-like figure walking toward the creek past tall berry bushes. The figure was backlit by a neighboring porch light, showing a large rounded head on very large rounded shoulders with little neck.

From about 300 yards away he watched a tall, dark, hairy figure squatting at the creek grabbing fish for several minutes. When the witness moved to get binoculars, the figure stood and ran on two legs with large leaps out of view. The witness did not go down to the site because the slope was too steep.

After remaining awake and still for an extended period the witnesses fell asleep, later heard a large splash in the river, and found no tracks in the morning.

The sound lasted several seconds, rose in pitch, and did not resemble known local wildlife, while nearby dogs did not react. The witness retrieved a handgun and flashlight to search but found nothing unusual, with ground too dry to hold tracks.
