Photographer hears early morning vocalizations near Lake Oroville
The witness parked her truck near Lake Oroville before sunrise to photograph valley lights. While sitting with the driver window down, she heard a loud angry roar that rapidly approached from behind and stopped at the rear passenger side of the truck. She saw nothing in the darkness and drove away frightened.
At dusk, swimmers hear vocalizations and whistles near Lake Oroville
Three people were at a lake launch ramp at dusk when the witness imitated a whistle from a recording. Movement was heard approaching through brush above the lake to within about 200 feet. A light showed eyes low along the treeline, and whistling exchanges continued until the group left in their car.
Mountain driver encounters creature crossing road near Oroville
A driver coasting downhill around a corner encountered a hair-covered biped crossing the road ahead in daylight. The creature first walked and then ran very fast, leaping into roadside brush without looking toward the driver. The observation lasted from about 100 feet down to about 40 feet.
Campers hear late night "banging" near Oroville
The witness and four companions camped overnight at Feather Falls campground and went to sleep around 1 AM. Sometime later while still dark, the witness heard rhythmic banging like a large branch struck against tree trunks from two separate distant locations, with patterns repeated back and forth and never overlapping. Companions who heard the sounds attributed them to a woodpecker, which the witness doubted because of the nighttime hour and irregular intervals. No vocalizations were heard.
Forestry Worker Observes a Sasquatch in Clear-Cut Near Feather River
The witness was working alone in a remote clearcut counting planted trees when loud noise drew attention to the brush edge. A tall upright creature about 110 to 125 yards away paused leaning its forearms on a bent tree for about 45 seconds while looking back. It then stood, took two steps, and disappeared; the witness did not search for tracks and continued working.

A resident went to the outhouse around 2 or 3 in the morning and heard something very large moving on two legs through dense brush toward him. The creature made deep guttural grunts that sounded aggressive and left the resident feeling severely threatened. The resident ran back to the house while hearing it follow below the trail.
Sighting by bow hunter / motorist at 6:30 AM near Butte Creek
Around 6:30 a.m. the witness was driving down into a campground area when they noticed a large dark shape moving through willows along a creek about 200 yards downstream from a bridge. The figure first looked like a person but moved with a very fluid walk and pronounced arm swing unlike a person. By the time the witness alerted a companion the figure was gone, and a later check of the gravelly area found disturbed rocks but no footprints.

Loud shrill whistles and chirps followed by low guttural grunts were heard exchanged between one creature above the house and two below, calling and answering.

On several trips to the outhouse before bed two household members noticed surrounding sounds stopping and felt watched with neck hairs prickling, after which they stopped going out after dark.
