Rock throwing in Wisconsin (2014)

2014 dusk Wisconsin 2 witnesses

Account

The guest and a companion hiked a trail in the Kettle Moraine while recording video, noticing a dark anomaly beside the trail. Rocks or heavy nuts repeatedly landed near their feet, with later throws audibly moving through leaves from a distance. After the guest tossed a rock toward the source area, several more were thrown back, and a nearby branch was seen pulled down and held.
