The witness was alone at a rural residence late at night doing college schoolwork when neighborhood dogs and horses became highly agitated. The witness went outside with a pistol and flashlight and saw a large crouched figure by the pasture fence. The figure stood on two legs and ran bipedally along the fence while the witness tracked it briefly before retreating inside and calling for help. A later search with a relative found only disturbed grass and no footprints.
