Movement only in West Virginia
Account
As children gathering water at the spring at the head of the holler, the guest and family heard rustling in the treeline they could not see. Adults became alarmed, ordered the children to walk out about a mile without running or looking at the hillside, later suggesting a bear or one of the woodboogers or old men of the mountain.
