Account
The witness, age 16, was deer hunting alone when a large hairy creature emerged from behind a boulder about 20 feet away chasing deer. It turned toward him, growled, bared teeth and stepped toward him until he cocked his rifle hammer. The creature then stopped, left the way it came, and screamed from a distance as the witness fled to the road and later told his father.
