On a second multi-day trip with five adults and four children, the camp heard distant roars then closer howl-screams, night movement circling the large canvas tent, murmuring, and claws raking the tent side. In the morning hung food bags were torn down with only cans left and large human-like tracks were everywhere. While hiking out the group was flanked on both sides, heard something crashing through trees, fired rifles, dodged a thrown 8-foot pole, and fled in trucks.
