Account
On their final night camping beside a river, the pair awoke after 1 a.m. to short howls from one direction, then a prolonged chorus of varied calls from all sides including howls, whoops, hoots and nearby cooing. All sound stopped around 2:05 a.m. when logging trucks passed on the nearby highway.
