Sasquatch sighting in Washington (1972)
Account
The guest was hunting with a friend and followed an elk herd before becoming separated. Alone, he stalked to a waterhole in blown-down timber and watched two bear-like animals eating mushrooms for about thirty minutes. One stood and proved to be a large male Sasquatch, then a female stood, and later the female carried an infant as they left. The guest stepped out, spoke to them, thanked them, and believed the male nodded before leaving.
