Unidentified sound in Washington
Account
The guest and members of the visiting research group were camped at the main site when they heard loud rock-clacking from the creek downhill for about ten minutes in the early morning. They walked to the overlook, after which the sound stopped and did not resume. The guest noted no known local animal was supposed to clack rocks like that.
