Man sees BF digging for ants, takes photos

In June 1974 a forestry worker setting flags for a gopher-trapping project near Parker Creek at the base of Mt. Jefferson reported seeing an animal initially mistaken for a bear digging at an ant pile. The animal was described as having a human-like face and being covered in dirt with ants crawling on its face. The witness reportedly took photographs of the creature.
