About seven years before writing, the witness was driving at dusk on a gravel road in the Blue Mountains when headlights revealed two tall figures crossing the road. The figures looked toward the vehicle and then walked into the woods. The witness stopped, got out, but could not relocate them, noticed no odor, and found no tracks because the ground was hard.
