Track found by elk hunter

The witness was elk hunting with a relative in a clear-cut area. While walking on a bank after watching deer, the witness found a single large footprint estimated at 18 to 19 inches long heading uphill. The track was described as about a week old and was the only one seen. The witness accidentally stepped in it before showing it to the relative.
