The witness was riding a motorcycle home from work in the early evening when he saw an animal standing in a ditch by a bend in the road. At first thinking it was a bear, he watched it step out and walk across the road in front of him before disappearing into brush. He described it as a large, muscular, hair-covered biped standing well over six feet tall that glanced at him as it crossed.
