The witness was riding with two companions in East Texas when the driver slowed to point out what looked like a bear with a deer. The animal stood up on two legs, grabbed the deer by the back legs, slung it over a shoulder, crossed in front of the car to a gully, dropped it and snarled. The driver fled to a nearby trailer, armed himself, and the group stayed inside believing it left into the woods.
