The witness was crossing a pond dam to place a game camera when deer ran toward him. He saw a black hairy figure rise from the ground to an upright stance about thirty yards away. He dropped the camera and chased it with a pocket knife, but it vanished into thick woods. He later sketched it and measured tracks beside a tree.
