Account
The witness reports being stopped on a nighttime patrol with about seven others when an unseen source approached to within about 30 feet and made prolonged loud breaking sounds in the woods for about 15 minutes. The group became frightened and left the area for their base, sensing they were watched while the source followed a short distance. Nothing was seen, and the night was otherwise quiet with no wind, light, or other noises.
