A police officer tells of a sighting, police dept. told to keep quiet
Account
People moving into a new house on a ridge heard noises from the garage and saw a large, dark, bad-smelling creature stooped over boxes with its head above the garage door. The creature stepped over a barbed wire fence and loped away, leaving hairs on the fence that were later said to have been analyzed as no known species. Police were said to have been ordered to stay quiet, and the newcomers never moved into the house.
