Account
The witness was searching for shed antlers when a noise behind them caused them to turn and see an orange-hued animal upright in tall brush at a distance. The animal had human-like shoulders and quickly dropped down out of view without making the noise of a fleeing bear. The witness watched from higher ground and later examined the spot but found no tracks and could not tell how it left.
