Three Sisters Wilderness - Witnesses observe rocks being thrown into campsite
Account
A group of teens and adult instructors were setting up camp on a ridge at dusk when rocks about the size of a bowling ball began landing in the camp. The teens first blamed a companion who had briefly left camp, but rocks continued after the companion returned, so the group retreated to the instructors' camp. Another rock landed near the combined group, who then sat back-to-back through the night before leaving the next day. No creature was ever seen.
