Whoops disturb horse, rider near Three Sisters
Account
The witness was riding horseback with a group into a large mountain meadow when they noticed a wet odor and flattened vegetation and the horses became alert to the right. A very loud deep scream from about thirty yards away panicked the horses and carried the witness away from the group. A second long howl rising in pitch was heard with bipedal footfalls and visible disturbance of small trees, followed by a whoop-like call, after which the witness rejoined the frightened group and they rode several hours to camp elsewhere.
