Footprints and large scat observed near location of new home

While inspecting a newly installed septic drain field near the woods, the witness found a couple of unusually large and deep footprints in the rough dirt. The prints were estimated at 14 to 16 inches long and seemed to come out of the woods and then turn back. Photos were taken but were of poor quality and lacked a scale object. No further tracks were found after the field was smoothed, though the witness continues to check the area.
