Motorists and firefighters observe a sasquatch darting across Rt. 224 SE of Odessa

While driving at night the witness and a companion saw a tall dark figure dart across the road in front of oncoming fire trucks. The figure reportedly ran on two legs with long strides and ape-like arm swings, crossing from a cornfield into brush and woods. The witnesses interpreted it as a frightened animal rather than a person and later found no tracks at the site.
