Sasquatch sighting in Saskatchewan (1981)
Account
The witness led cousins across a lake to set rabbit snares and returned to the canoe for a rifle after feeling watched. He saw a very tall hairy figure watching the cousins from a few feet away, tried to load the gun but shook too badly, and watched it leave. The group fled by canoe to a cabin, barricaded inside, and found detailed footprints sunk in moss the next day.
