Woman observes moss-covered creature eating leaves, watching her
Account
The witness was having a picnic lunch with a friend beside a creek when she looked into the nearby forest and saw a small ape-like creature sitting and eating leaves. The creature appeared to mimic her sandwich-eating, seemed aware of being watched, and gave an impression of smiling and intelligence. When the witness glanced away to alert her friend, the creature disappeared, which she attributed to excellent camouflage.
