Oregon Bigfoot #4571
man recalls experience while picking berries
8 August 1971
mid morning
Salem, Marion County, Oregon
1 witness
Account
While picking blackberries away from family along a river hedge, the witness reached inside the brush when it opened about two feet in front. A primate-like creature stood about three feet away holding the branches open at neck level and made eye contact for about five seconds. Both appeared shocked, and the witness noted human-like facial expression before freezing in terror.
