Account
The witness was awakened at home around 4:30 a.m. by persistent barking and an extremely loud, high-pitched screaming sound from outside that moved from the backyard to the front yard. The witness checked on a dog and did not see the source, and opening and closing a side door coincided with the screaming stopping after about 15 minutes. A relative in the home also awoke frightened, and later independently said an online scream sample matched what was heard that morning.
