Man and wife see a creature standing in the Columbia River near I-84
Account
While driving on I-84, the witness and a passenger looked down toward the river bank and watched a tall, slender, dark figure standing in shallow water near shore for about 30 seconds until trees blocked the view. The figure was described as humanoid with a pointed head, forward-angled head/neck, and backward-flexing elbows, with uniform dark coloration and no visible clothing, boots, or fishing gear. The witnesses estimated its height at over seven feet.
