Vocalization near Pike County
Account
At night the witness heard an unusually large pack of coyotes yelping, then a primal deep roar from across the creek, followed later by a whimpering dog sound. Days later he found a perfect grass circle worn in snow, a 4-5 foot wide path through thorn trees, and a large nest of prairie grass that did not grow on that hillside.
