Elk hunters find two sets of bare-foot tracks in the snow near Palmer Junction

While elk hunting, the witness and companions walked a logging road to meet another party member and found very large tracks in hardened snow that wandered on and off the road. The tracks came in two sizes, crushed the snow to the gravel, and had not been present that morning. The third party member had also noticed the tracks independently, and the group did not follow them and returned to camp.

Measurements: big tracks about 18 inches long and eight inches wide; smaller tracks maybe 15 inches long; snow 2 or 3 inches deep
