Sasquatch sighting near Oscoda, Michigan (1970)
Account
Two children were picking blueberries on a wooded trail when they saw a tall dark-haired upright creature walking casually toward them from about fifty yards away. The older sister screamed and both ran, then saw its head and shoulders still approaching as they looked back before fleeing to the main road and cottage. Parents did not believe them, and the witness later concluded it was Bigfoot that meant no harm.
