Sasquatch sighting near Orofino, Idaho (1967)
Account
A day after killing and gutting an elk, a hunter returned alone down a gated road to recover a forgotten pocket knife while carrying his Super 8 camera in heavy falling snow. Something black behind brush in a partial clearcut stepped out as an enormous creature that advanced a few steps before turning and striding away across the cut. He filmed the encounter, later showed the film to acquaintances and a university, but the film's current location is unknown.
